Beeka Monique is the energetic owner of Cocobella Fashion Boutique in Lansing, Michigan. Cocobella is the go-to place for chic and bold fashion, known for its standout clothes and accessories. Beeka, also known as the Diva of Downtown, has always loved fashion. Her dream of owning a boutique started over 23 years ago, but it was the COVID-19 pandemic that inspired her to finally take the leap and invest in herself.

Located at 215 South Washington Square in the historic Atrium Building, Cocobella offers a unique shopping experience with its beautiful architecture and skylights. The boutique is one of the first stores in the new Middle Village shopping area. Cocobella is famous for its unique items, like vegan tote bags with French designer labels and customized military jackets. Beeka also provides personal styling services, helping clients create a personalized wardrobe. The first consultation is free, making this service even more appealing.
Beeka’s goal is to build lasting relationships with her clients, offering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming space where women feel comfortable and confident. She stays in touch with her clients, providing ongoing fashion advice and support. Her ideal clients are busy working mothers aged 35 to 50 who need help managing their wardrobes. Beeka helps them look and feel their best, boosting their confidence.
The name Cocobella came to Beeka spontaneously and reflects her mission to empower women. She believes in giving back to the community and is developing the Bella Collective, a nonprofit program to support young women aged 16 to 21 with fashion programs and provide essential toiletries to women in need.
Beeka keeps up with fashion trends by watching reality TV, ensuring Cocobella stays ahead of the curve. The boutique plans to expand into a new space in downtown Lansing next year and continue its philanthropic efforts.
