Today’s Guest: Lysne Tait, founder of Helping Women Period- it’s a great day to end period poverty!
After reading an article in 2015, Lysne learned of homeless women not having the supplies they needed for their monthly cycle and she and her friend wanted to make a difference and started their journey making a difference in the community. Being able to educate others on women’s bodies has been a cornerstone of their non-profit in addition to providing products.
During the COVID 19 Pandemic, Lysne started the campaign “It’s a great day to end period poverty!” Again, recognizing a need for a positive message for a difficult topic during a difficult time.

Lysne is currently wrapping up The Year of Saying Yes by Shonda Rhymes which has been very helpful for people pleasers.
