A graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design, Connie Sweet’s branding and graphic design creations have gained national recognition. Connie founded her first graphic design and website design company, Connection Graphics, LLC, in 1998. In 2017, WBE, WOSB certified, Connection Group, Inc. was created to include digital content creation and brand consultations. The business headquarters are located just south of Lansing, in a 1917 schoolhouse that also served as a church for many years. The Connection Group enjoys sharing the creative, spiritual setting with our four-legged co-workers.
With nearly three decades of design and business experience, expertise in graphic design, and brand support, Connie Sweet has helped each organization she has worked with excel. With each life and business transition, Connie has dedicated herself to helping individuals and organizations achieve success and stay connected to the people and places that matter.
Connie Sweet was fortunate to have female mentors which inspired her to seek ways to support women in business. In 2009, Sweet co-founded WISE, Women in Successful Enterprises, with Floriza Genautis. In 2010, she organized the monthly women in business group, Women-Connect, in Charlotte, Michigan. She has served as a Marketing Chair and Vice-President of the Entrepreneur Institute of Mid-Michigan and has served on local non-profit boards including Woldumar Nature Center, Eaton County United Way, and chair for Great Lakes Women Business Council West Michigan Forum, and Secretary of the Friends of Durant Park in Downtown Lansing.
